On occasion people come to me because they have had a bad experience or poor results with professional photography and they need help.
Lindsay Shen is an example: Before our shoot, I asked her to send her most recent professional portrait to me so I could study it and find out what went wrong.
I see a beautiful long neck, an interesting hair cut, and nice features but I also see bad makeup that looks greasy and poor lighting.
